Tourist information centre for Sorris Sorris Conservancy to generate modest income and provide platform where visitors can interact with local people. Concept of building as threshold/ gateway between community and visitor, designed so that boundary between the two users is blurred. Not only place for visitors to relax and obtain information on people and environment of Sorris Sorris, but also place where community can interact and hold other communal meetings. Robust materials to ensure minimal maintenance.

Outer edge of complex addresses natural surroundings with monolithic gabion walls as reference to nature. Inner edge of steel and Uis bricks addresses immediate context of conservancy office and becomes reference to people of the area.
